Video licenses

Canadian copyright requires that public performance rights be obtained in order to show a film in a classroom or other venue on campus.

NFB (National Film Board of Canada) License Agreement

The NFB Campus license agreement grants public exhibition rights for any online videos on the NFB.ca website to authorized Concordia users.

Note that access to some additional NFB Campus features requires individual registration at https://www.nfb.ca/campus-canada. Ignore billing information, and choose "Concordia University, Montreal, QC" as your institution. See the NFB Campus Quick Start Guide for complete instructions.

Classroom viewing and booking

For more information on public performance rights and classroom viewing see the Copyright Guide.

For information on booking a film for classroom viewing see Video Booking Service.
