The information collected here will only be accessible to the the Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry librarian. Individual chat transcripts are not shared with anyone. Statistics generated from chat transcripts, as well as excerpts, may be used for reports or publications. Using the Meebo chat software through the Biology or Chemistry and Biochemistry subject pages garantees complete anonymity. However, information provided freely during a chat session (e.g., email address, name, phone numbers) will never be shared and will remain confidential. Any patron that wants to have a record of their chat transcript deleted may email danielle.dennie@concordia.ca to request the deletion of their chat transcript from the Chemistry and Biochemistry librarian's personal files. Users will need to know the date and exact time of their chat session in order to be sure that their exact chat trancript can be found.
