Literature Online (LION)
LION contains about 350,000 literary works:- English poetry, drama and prose from 600.
- American poetry, drama and prose from 1607.
- Canadian poetry from 1610 to the present.
- Also includes literary works from: Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Australia, South Asia, South Africa, the Caribbean and West Indies.
- Exception: 20th century poetry.
Early English Books Online (EEBO)
EEBO is a full-text and full-image database of books printed in the British Isles, British America, and other countries from 1475 to 1700. It includes:- Thomason Tracts: collection of 22,000 broadsides ranging from political speeches to religious tracts to newspaper articles from the period 1640-1661.
- Tract Supplement: broadsides, pamphlets and scrapbooks primarily from the British Library.

Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO)
ECCO is a full-text and full-image database of about 150,000 English-language and foreign-language titles printed in Great Britain during the 18th century, along with thousands of important works from the Americas. Available at the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec website, listed under On-line resources: Journals, magazines, newspapers and databases.- Subscription for remote services required.

Alexander Street Press
Concordia Libraries subscribe to the Alexander Street Press Core Collections, which include full-text drama collections:- Twentieth Century North American Drama, when complete, will contain the full text of 2,000 plays written from the late 1800s to the present by more than 300 playwrights from North America, as well as some plays from non-North American playwrights.
- Includes Asian American Drama, Black Drama and North American Women’s Drama.
Dictionary of Old English, Old English Corpus
Produced with the support of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the National Endowment for the Humanites, and published by the Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto, the Dictionary of Old English, Old English Corpus is a complete record of surviving Old English, with a dictionary and more than 3000 texts.Middle English Compendium

Women Writers Online consists of electronic texts of works in English, or in English translation, from Brown University's Women Writers Project, covering the period from 1400 to 1850. Includes access to Renaissance Women Online. The texts can be browsed or searched by keywords.InteLex Past Masters
InteLex Past Masters includes a collection of English Letters originally published in print by Oxford University Press and Pickering & Chatto. This collection encompasses the letters, correspondence, and in some instances the diaries and the notebooks of the most significant figures in English literature, letters, politics, the church and the arts.- It also includes the Women Writers collection, which contains not only the correspondence and journals, but also the primary works of important women writers in the English Language.

Early Canadiana Online (ECO)
Early Canadiana Online is a digital library providing access to almost 14,000 digitized volumes comprising over 2 million pages of Canada's printed heritage. It features works published from the time of the first European settlers up to the early 20th Century, with particular emphasis on literature, women's history, Native studies, and the history of French Canada.ProQuest Combined Canadian
ProQuest Combined Canadian provides fulltext of Canadian major daily newspapers. Global and Mail from 1977. Montreal Gazette from 1985.- Indexes Canadian magazines, academic journals and special interest publications with fulltext articles from more than 100 titles. Searches can be limited to peer-reviewed publications.
- Also includes selected fulltext and indexing of poems, plays, and short stories.
Canadian Periodical Index (CPI.Q)
CPI.Q provides coverage of all subject areas with an emphasis on Canadian and international issues. It provides citations to more than 400 English and French language journals and magazines, including approximately 30 American titles.- Fulltext of articles from approximately 160 of the titles.
- Also includes the fulltext of Globe and Mail articles from 1997 onwards.
- Searches can be limited to peer-reviewed publications.
- Index: 1980 onward. Fulltext generally begins in 1995 (coverage varies depending on the journal title).
- Also includes selected fulltext and indexing of poems, plays, and short stories.

Created by Alexander Street Press Theatre in Video, covers a wide range of 20th century theatre history, featuring original stage productions, captured and recorded while performed for a live theatre audience. Inter-Play
Inter-Play is an online index to plays in collections, anthologies, and periodicals and in a variety of languages. Separately-published plays are not included. It contains approximately 19,000 citations to plays. The sources indexed range from the late 19th century through the current year.- Search for the title or author of a play.

Short Story Index
Short Story Index lists approximately 65,000 short stories written in or translated into English that have appeared in collections and selected periodicals. The fulltext of about 900 stories is included.Humanities Abstracts
Humanities Abstracts provides citations to literary works published in periodicals. Search options include poem, short story and drama.- Humanities Abstracts also provides citations (with abstracts from 1994) to articles in over 400 periodicals in theology, religion, performing arts, literary and political criticism, language and literature, philosophy, history, and classical studies.
