AIDS Research Archive Observations on Social & Political Change, 1980-1990

This is a microfiche collection of thousands of full-text articles, pamphlets, clippings and other ephemera contained in the Gay Men's Health Crisis archives from the collection of the New York Public Library. It documents the rise of AIDS and the social, political, and economic impacts as reported by the alternative media on the spread and treatment of AIDS during the early years of the pandemic. The collection contains 160 microfiches and a printed user guide to the 3,000 articles from 150 publications.
