AIDS Research
AmFAR is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support
of basic biomedical and clinical research on AIDS,
education to prevent the spread of AIDS, and sound
AIDS-related public policy.

Persons with AIDS Society
The British Columbia Persons with AIDS Society (BCPWA)
provides support services and treatment and advocacy
information for people living with HIV/AIDS.
- Canadian AIDS Society -
Societe Canadienne du SIDA
The Canadian AIDS Society (CAS) is a national coalition of
over 100 community-based AIDS organizations across Canada.
They are dedicated to strengthening the response to
HIV/AIDS across all sectors of society, and to enrich the
lives of people and communities living with HIV/AIDS.

CANFAR is a national charitable foundation created to raise
awareness and funds for research into all aspects of HIV
infection and AIDS in Canada.

Pediatric AIDS Foundation
Founded in 1988, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS
Foundation is a national organization in the United States
dedicated exclusively to research for AIDS in
children.

Foundation
The mission of the Elton John AIDS Foundation is to provide
funding for programs that provide services to people living
with HIV/AIDS and education programs targeted at HIV/AIDS
prevention, and/or elimination of prejudice and
discrimination against HIV/AIDS affected individuals.

Foundation
Based in Montreal, Quebec, the Farha Foundation is a
nonprofit organization that raises and distributes money to
organizations and people. Their goal is to improve the
lives of people living with HIV and AIDS. One of their
major fundraising events is the annual Montreal AIDS Walk,
Ça Marche.
- Hong Kong AIDS
Foundation
The Hong Kong AIDS Foundation is a non-profit organization
established in 1991 with the support of the government and
the private sector.
- International AIDS Society
(IAS)
The International AIDS Society (IAS) was founded in 1988 in
connection with the IVth International AIDS Conference in
Stockholm, Sweden. One of the missions of the IAS is to
contribute to the control and management of HIV infection
and AIDS throughout the world in co-operation with national
and regional AIDS Societies, with UNAIDS and other international
organizations including non-governmental organizations. The
IAS organizes the International AIDS Conferences and
subspeciality conferences on HIV infection and AIDS.
- New Zealand AIDS
Foundation (NZAF)
The vision of NZAF is to "end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in
Aotearoa/New Zealand." The purpose of NZAF is to "prevent
the transmission of HIV and maximise the health of people
living with HIV/AIDS."
- San Francisco
AIDS Foundation
Founded in 1982, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation is
dedicated to education and prevention and provides
comprehensive services for people living with HIV and AIDS.
It also adopts an aggressive public policy aimed at federal
