reprints, dissertations, theses, and research reports of all kinds.
The Institutions listed here provide either full-text reports, or
searchable extended abstracts of their technical reports on the
World Wide Web.
General Physics Web Sites
- Physicsweb Produced by
the Institute of Physics, this site includes web resources,
current news from the physics world, international job postings and
events. The search-feature allows searches to be initiated for
physics links worldwide, including physics departments and
companies in particular countries.
- Physlink This commercial
site provides access to some of the latest physics and astronomy
news stories. It includes an 'ask the experts' board,
virtual reference sources, physical data tables, job listings and
university department directories.
- Physical Review Focus This
site provides selections from the 'Physical Review' and
'Physical Review Letters' explained for students and
researchers in all fields of physics. Quick and advanced
search-features, email alerts, an archive of past articles and an
image index are also available. The site is maintained by the
American Physical Society.
- Physics News
Update A bulletin of physics news items arising from physics
journals, meetings, newspapers and other news sources. Features a
searchable news archive, a subject-specific graphics index, and is
updated about once a week by the American Institute of
Physics.
- Physnet
A worldwide network of physics departments and documents, this
site's aim is to provide a longterm stable and distributed
information service for physicists with the collaboration of many
international societies and physics organizations. Allows searching
by geographical region.
- Net Advance
of Physics This site collects review articles, physics
tutorials, and reference materials on many aspects pf physics. It
presents the material in an encyclopedic format, and the site is
maintained by a professor from the Massachusets Institute of
Technology.
