About the collection

The book collection in the Webster and Vanier Libraries includes over one million items with approximately 18,000 new titles being added each year. The books for many subject areas, especially in the Arts and Sciences and Commerce and Administration, are collected by both libraries. Because some faculties and departments are located on only one campus, the related subject collections are concentrated in the library on that campus

The Webster Library (Downtown Campus) includes the collections for Computer Science, Education, Engineering, and Visual Arts. The Vanier Library (Loyola Campus) contains the collections for the Sciences, Communication Studies, Geology, Journalism, Music and Performing Arts.
