External Community Access to Library Workstations

Computer workstations in Concordia University Libraries with access to the internet require authentication of each person using the computer. Currently enrolled Concordia students, faculty and staff must use their MyConcordia netname and password for authentication. Other categories of library users may be eligible to access library workstations.

Who can get a library guest account?

Holders of valid Library Privilege Cards may apply for access to library workstations.

How do I get a guest account?

Create a DPrint Guest Account through an online form. Be sure to print out or write down your guest netname, password and loader key.

Activate your DPrint account for access to library workstations at the Circulation Desk at the Webster or Vanier Library. Presentation of a valid Library Privilege Card and photo identification is required. Borrowers must be in good standing and not have any outstanding overdue items, fines or unpaid debts to the Libraries.

Conditions of use

  • Guest accounts are not transferable.
  • Holders of guest accounts must comply with University and Libraries regulations on computer use and are responsible for any use made of their account on library computers. All users must log off at the end of their session.
  • Priority of access to library workstations is given to the members of the Concordia community. Access to guests may be restricted at any time.

Can I print, photocopy and/or scan?

To print, photocopy or scan, you need to add funds to your account using one of the cash loaders on campus (LB 119 or VL101).
