Both libraries offer a variety of equipment and facilities to help you access or view our media collections.
Viewing rooms are available in both libraries (one at Webster and one at Vanier). Please see below for a description of each room and how to book it.
Location: Third floor, LB 351
The Webster Viewing Room contains a 50" plasma screen connected to a DVD, VHS and videodisk player. The screen is also connected to a computer with Internet access and Microsoft Office software. The room can seat up to 25 people.

Location: Second floor, VL 203
The Vanier Viewing Room contains a 50" plasma screen connected to a DVD, VHS and videodisk player. The screen is also connected to a computer with Internet access and Microsoft Office software. The room can seat up to 20 people.

Both libraries are equipped with VHS, Videodisc, U-Matic and DVD players along with viewing monitors. Vanier Library has Beta players available.
Both libraries have CD players, audio-cassette players and turntables, available on a first-come-first-serve basis. The Vanier Library also has a DAT player, a high speed audio cassette dubbing machine and a filmstrip/audio player.

Headphones for use with a laptop, VCR, DVD player, CD player or other equipment may be borrowed for the day from the:
