concordia university alumni Members of the Concordia University Alumni Association are eligible to borrow library material and use library workstations. In order to use library services alumni need to register at the Circulation Desk in Webster or Vanier library. Please present your Alumni Association card, along with a valid picture ID, at the time of registration.
To obtain an Alumni card, contact Alumni Relations (http://alumni.concordia.ca).
Registered Concordia University alumni can borrow books and other materials that circulate from the Libraries by presenting their Alumni card and valid personal identification. Some material, such as periodicals and reference material, does not circulate. Borrowers may obtain information about their own circulation record at a Circulation Desk or online in CLUES, the library catalogue, under MyCLUES.

Overdue fines are charged at $1 per day per item for most items. Library borrowing privileges are suspended if a fine of $5 has been incurred. Please note that non-receipt of an overdue notice does not release borrowers from their responsibility to return books on time.
Reference & Research Assistance is offered on a priority basis to Concordia's primary constituency, that is, currently enrolled Concordia University students, faculty and staff. Reference assistance is provided to other users as time permits.
Registered Concordia University alumni may apply in person at the Vanier or Webster Circulation Desk during service hours for a guest account to use library computers.

'CLUES only' computers as well as selected computers in the reference area are accessible at any time without an account.
License agreements require that off-campus use of the Libraries' electronic resources be restricted to Concordia University students, faculty members and staff. Registered Concordia University alumni may request a guest account enabling them to use some online resources in the library.
For Québec residents, the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec offers free access to an array of online resources (free subscription required) .
You can also search for Open Access content that is freely available online.
All persons using the library must respect the Library Code of Conduct. Among other regulations, excessive noise and use of cell phones are not permitted; also, food and drink are not permitted except for liquids in spill-proof containers.
