Any member of the general public who wishes to borrow materials from the Libraries may purchase a Concordia University Library Privilege Card for $50.00 (non-refundable) at the Circulation Desk. Valid personal identification must be shown for registration. The Concordia University Library Privilege Card is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
Concordia University Library Privilege Card holders, upon presentation of their card and valid personal identification, can borrow books and other materials that circulate from the Libraries. Some material, such as periodicals and material, does not circulate. Borrowers may obtain information about their own circulation record at a Circulation Desk or online in CLUES, the library catalogue, under MyCLUES.

Overdue fines are charged at $1 per day per item for most items. Library borrowing privileges are suspended if a fine of $5 has been incurred. Please note that non-receipt of an overdue notice does not release borrowers from their responsibility to return books on time.
& Research Assistance is offered on a priority basis to Concordia's primary constituency, that is, currently enrolled Concordia University students, faculty and staff. assistance is provided to other users as time permits.
Concordia University Library Privilege Card holders may apply in person at the Vanier or Webster Circulation Desk during service hours for a guest account to use library computers.

'CLUES only' computers as well as selected computers in the reference area are accessible at any time without an account.
License agreements require that off-campus use of the Libraries' electronic resources be restricted to Concordia University students, faculty members and staff. Concordia University Library Privilege Card holders may request a guest account enabling them to use some online resources in the library.
Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec offers free access to an array of online resources (free subscription (registration) required).

All persons using the library must respect the Library Code of Conduct. Among other regulations, excessive noise and use of cell phones are not permitted; also, food and drink are not permitted except for water kept in a closed container.
