About the project

Purpose

Our "Critical Toolkit for Navigating Information” offers concise units with activities for gaining critical thinking skills about information sources.

Library professionals have extensive experience with finding and critically assessing information. To share some of this expertise, the Critical Toolkit covers the most important aspects of learning, researching, and writing in our current and near-future information environment.

We welcome all further feedback which may make these resources more easily accessible to you.

Feedback:

If you use these units and activities in your teaching, please let us know! Questions, feedback and comments are welcome as well. Email us at lib-suggestions@concordia.ca.

Project team and contributors:

We would like to acknowledge the assistance of Jason Camlot, James Healey, and the facilities of the CFI-funded AMPLab (Amplitude Lab for Literature and Sound Studies) located in the Department of English at Concordia University. Their technical support and the resources of the lab were important contributions to the production of the audio versions of these Critical Toolkit units.
