About the Project
Purpose
Quick Things for Digital Knowledge is a starting point for learning about emerging topics in our current data-rich and technology-driven world. It aims to promote critical thinking about important, complex topics that affect everyone. This is not deep or difficult learning – it is broad, exploratory learning; trying something new in a simple way. Whether you are digitally shy or digitally savvy, we anticipate that you will be able to learn or try several new concepts or tools.
You can engage with the Quick Things in any order, at any time. It should take 20-30 minutes to review the information and complete activities for each Thing. Resources and pathways for further learning and skill development are also included.
Quick Things for Digital Knowledge is designed to be accessible in multiple formats. You can choose to read the text in your browser, stream or download an audio version, watch videos, or download all content in a PDF format for offline or screen-reader use. The text-only version includes descriptions of all visual content.
