As of June 14, it will no longer necessary to reserve a study space to access the Webster or Vanier libraries. However, it will still be required to complete the Library’s COVID-19 training on Moodle before coming to the Library. Once the COVID-19 training is complete, access to the Library will be granted for the entire summer term. Please note, however, that access is only granted one day following the successful completion of the training. Before accessing the Library, users must check in with the security agent on the ground floor of the Library Building (LB-1) or at the entrance of the Vanier Library. Only designated study spaces on LB2 and VL1 will be available. These include: LB-245, LB-260, LB-261, LB-285, VL-122, VL-126.
The Library is providing students with access to study space in both Webster and Vanier libraries upon completion of the Library's COVID-19 training. Only seating for individual study and exams is available. No group work is permitted. Electrical outlets are available at all seats, please bring your own device. The Technology Sandbox, course reserve room, loans desks, Ask Us and reference desks remain closed and printers and scanners are not accessible. However, Desktop as a Service is available.
Access to computer workstations in LB-245 and LB-285 as well as on the ground floor of the Vanier Library are available. Note also that the library bookshelves, the microforms and microform readers are available on appointment. More information.
