LB-2 East will reopen to students and staff on Tuesday, January 17 at noon. Some of our collections will be moving to LB-2:

  • Reference and standards,
  • Journals,
  • Government publications,
  • Curriculum collection and media kits,
  • Musical scores, CDs, LPs & audiocassettes,
  • ERIC documents,
  • Maps and atlases, and
  • Microforms.

LB-2 will be accessible via the northern (de Maisonneuve Street side) internal staircase. Users will have access to all three silent reading rooms, the collaborative space, and the three group study rooms (for a total of close to 450 places). This should alleviate some of the discomfort resulting from the temporary loss of access to LB-4. The plan below will help you to visualize the setup of the area. Transitional signage will be put in place to help users.
