As we know, technology and digital learning tools are having a profound impact on the teaching and learning process and on the classroom itself. Webster Library’s two new classrooms are designed with this new mode of learning in mind. The classrooms are flexible spaces with multiple furniture arrangements that can accommodate groups. LB-205 can accommodate 30 people, LB-207 can accommodate 24. They both offer the flexibility to use laptops. Several Librarians have had the occasion to use one of these classrooms. Michelle Lake, for one, enjoys the large windows. So does Melissa Rivosecchi who also likes the fact that the integrated technology is the same as what is found in the multi-functional room which makes it is easy to use.
