Job description

Reporting to Tomasz Neugebauer, Digital Projects & Systems Development Librarian at Concordia Library, the candidate will be responsible for carrying out research tasks related to a project on the development of library guidelines for open-source research software.

Position requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct literature review
  • Regularly meet and report findings to supervisor

Qualifications/skills required

  • Master’s degree in library and information studies and/or a field pertinent to the primary responsibilities with two years of related research experience.
  • Familiarity with open science and open-source software.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Oral and written fluency in English is essential. French is an asset.

Rate of pay

$33.59 per hour (inclusive of 4% vacation pay)
