How to borrow
All accessories are available for a one-day loan duration.
Chargers
- 3-in-1 cables (Apple lightning + Micro USB + USB Type-C) with USB and wall plugs for charging smartphones and tablets
- Apple 30-pin cables with USB and wall plugs (older generation iPhones, iPads and iPods)
Adapters
Available at Webster Library only:
- 3-in-1 adapters (HDMI to mini-display port, HDMI to micro USB and HDMI to Apple lightning) for devices without an HDMI port - particularly for connecting to screens in group study room
- Apple 30-pin to VGA adapters
- Apple lightning connectors to VGA adapters
Headphones and headsets
- Headphones with audio jacks for use with a laptop, tablet, VCR, DVD player, CD player or other equipment.
- Headset with microphone useful for online meetings
Noise cancelling headsets
- Wired active noise cancelling headset with or without USB-C (F) to USB-A (M) converter.
- These headsets were purchased with the support of the Library Services Fund, which is funded by undergraduate students.
Calculators
Two departmentally approved calculators may be borrowed for the day from the Webster Library Loans & Returns desk or Vanier Library Circulation desk during service hours.
Two models are available: Casio Model fx-300MS and Sharp Model EL-531XGB.

External CD/DVD drives (R R/W) with USB connectors.
Whiteboard markers and erasers
Packs of 4 whiteboard markers and a whiteboard eraser (can be used with mobile whiteboards on wheels and whiteboards in group study rooms).
Visual aid keyboard
A Visual aid keyboard is a computer keyboard with colour-contrasted, large-sized letters/numbers on the buttons or keys, making it easier to read and help reduce eye strain for individuals with visual impairments. Available at Vanier Library only.
Portable standing desks
Lightweight cardboard portable standing desks.
Easy to fold and carry, these desks allow you to work while standing up. The desks were purchased with the support of the Library Services Fund, which is funded by undergraduate students.

Light therapy lamps
Compact, portable light therapy lamps.
Light therapy lamps allow you to enjoy UV-free light indoors and may help improve mood, focus, energy and sleep.
The lamps were purchased with the support of the Library Services Fund, which is funded by undergraduate students.
