Help with Research Data Management

 

Research data management consultations are available for Concordia faculty, students and staff.

Members of the Library’s Research Data Management team can provide guidance on:

  • Data management plans (DMPs) – Tri-Agency requirements, choosing a DMP template, considerations for each section of a DMP
  • Data sharing – choosing a data repository, ethical considerations related to data sharing, preparing data for deposit
  • Basic questions related to other aspects of the research data management process
    • For example:
      • best practices in file naming, file organization, and data documentation
      • suggestion of tools that can be used for data cleaning and anonymization

Members of the Library’s Research Data Management team are not responsible for:

  • Writing a Data Management Plan for your research project
  • Preparation of in-depth data management solutions for your research data
  • Data security solutions
  • Analyzing your data
  • Cleaning or tidying your data
  • Deidentifying or anonymizing your data
  • Depositing your data in a repository
