Returning items

Where to return items

Items borrowed from the Vanier Library or Webster Library can be returned at either library (see access times below or see library hours), with the following exceptions:

  • Equipment (laptops, tablets, calculators, etc.):
    Equipment, including Technology Sandbox material, Should be returned to the library from which the item was borrowed, during service desk opening hours (i.e. Vanier Circulation Desk or Webster Loans & Returns Desk).
    Both desks are closed from December 21 to January 5, 2025.
  • Course reserves
    Course reserve items should be returned at the library where the item was borrowed.

Webster Library (SGW Campus): in the LB building, Mackay Street entrance. A book return drop can be found just inside the entrance. Alternatively, when the Library Building is open, book return drops can be found near the Loans & Returns desk on LB2, the Library’s main floor.

Should the Mackay steet entrance be closed, requests for access to the book return drop should be made at the Hall building Bishop street entrance security desk – you will need to have your Concordia ID card.

Vanier Library (Loyola Campus): A book return drop can be found outside the entrance to the Vanier Library building. Alternatively, when the Vanier Library is open, a book return drop can be found at the Circulation Desk.
