Proxy borrowers
What a proxy borrower can do
To do any of the following actions a proxy borrower must go in person to either the Circulation Desk at Vanier Library or Loans & Returns desk at Webster Library during their hours of operation with the Library Privilege Card issued to them and valid personal picture identification; note that proxies cannot use the self-checkout machines:
- Borrow material
- Check-out holds and interlibrary loan requests made by the appointing Concordia community member
- Place holds on material from the Concordia Library collections and the Quebec University Library Partnership
- Find out what they have borrowed and check due dates (the appointing Concordia community member will be able to access this information in their My Library Account in Sofia)
Note: Proxy borrowers cannot access the proxy account via Sofia.
