Renewing items
Automatic renewals
Items borrowed by the Concordia community from Concordia Library's regularly circulating collections are automatically renewed (until the user's account expires). There is no notification for renewals, you are only notified via email when a renewal is blocked.
However, if the item is requested by another user or if the item is recalled by the Library for Course Reserves, you will receive an email notice with a due date for the item. Only recalls for Course Reserves will shorten your loan. You will have a seven-day period after the notice is sent before you need to return the item. If the item is not returned within seven days of the notice, fines will be applied.
Note that items from the course reserves and equipment collections (including laptops, tablets, accessories and Technology Sandbox items) are not renewable and therefore do not renew automatically.
