Open Textbook Grants

Our open textbook grants support professors in integrating open textbooks in their classrooms. The beauty of open education is that learning materials, including open textbooks, can be adapted or customized to meet the needs of the course content, learning objectives, and accessibility standards, as well as to foster inclusivity and diversity. Open textbooks are free for students, and many existing open textbooks can be adopted or customized.

There are two application periods for open textbook grants for faculty at Concordia University.
The Fall submission period coincides with Open Access Month at Concordia in October.
The Winter submission period coincides with Open Education Month at Concordia in March.
